Welcome to Lost In Florence

Lost In Florence offers visitors a central gateway to the rich cultural tapestry of Florence, nestled on Via Camillo Cavour, a stone’s throw from iconic landmarks like the Uffizi Gallery and historic churches lining the Arno River. This location is undeniably the heart of the city’s vibrant historic district, making it a practical choice for travelers eager to explore Tuscan art, architecture, and dining.

However, the overall experience at Lost In Florence reflects a blend of charm and challenge. The accommodation, rated at 3.1, reveals areas where comfort and maintenance fall short. Issues cited by guests include functional drawbacks such as a sofa bed unsuitable for larger individuals, malfunctioning toilets, creaky shutters, and a cracked sink. These details suggest a need for refurbishing to meet modern comfort standards.

The ambiance is further affected by external disturbances—ongoing road works create vibrations and noise, especially at night, hampering the tranquility travelers often seek after a day of sightseeing. The breakfast offering, served at a nearby bar, leaves room for improvement, noted by cold coffee and limited in scope.

From the perspective of a hotel brand promoter, Lost In Florence’s greatest value lies in its unbeatable location amid Florence’s timeless allure. For business travelers or tourists prioritizing proximity to historic sites and Tuscan culinary experiences, it serves as a convenient base. Nonetheless, prospective guests should weigh the convenience against reported maintenance issues and noise level.

In sum, Lost In Florence embodies a vivid connection to Florence’s cultural heartbeat but currently requires attention to detail and guest comfort to fully match the city’s renowned hospitality standards.

Great location...that's it. Sofa bed, not good for larger people... Toilet didn't flush properly, shutters didn't shut properly either... nor the shower cubical door... Sink cracked.. Road works right outside the window on the pavement, so couldn't hear yourself think and whole place vibrated... Very noisy public movement especially at night... Breakfast at a bar, coldest coffee I've had a a cappuccino, pastry and an orange juice, not what I would call breakfast...
